I try to constantly tell a good story with how I live. I want my life to be about how i loved my wife and my family, always served others, never stopped learning and exploring, and always remained young at heart.

My favorite book in the world is called “A Million Miles in a Thousand Years” by Donald Miller. In that book Don proposes that the same elements that make a good story can be used to make a good life. It means doing hard things, overcoming conflict, creating memorable scenes, and being a part of something bigger than ourselves. It means forgetting our fears and pursuing what it is we know we are called to do. It means being healthy so we are around a long time to tell our story. It means asking girls on dates, asking for her hand in marriage, raising kids, serving others, and forgetting about ourselves long enough to do something extraordinary.

This is how I try to live my life. I fail way more than I succeed but it is my constant desire to tell a great story.

One of the reasons I am absolutely in love with photography is that it is the best way to share your story with the world. Marriage is one of the biggest chapters in your story! It’s epic. It is the point when two people become one and begin their story together. I love the fact that I get to capture this moment and stage in people’s lives. It really doesn’t get any better.
