Portraits are one of my favorite things to shoot. Weddings are exciting and really high energy, but portraits let me be a little bit more creative. We get to hang out and get to know each other while we make some cool images.
I really like to keep things fun and casual. It is my experience that the more relaxed you are, the better the pictures are. So typically we shoot for about 90 minutes in the early evening to get the best light. We hang out, play a bit and just try to have fun. I will definitely give you direction, but I tried to avoid traditional “posing”.
When picking out outfits just try to look like the best version of yourself. If you are fancy formal person than look fancy and formal. If you are casual and chic than go for that. If you love thigns vintage than rock that vintage dress and fedora. Try not to look too ‘matchy’ and cliche, but do make sure your outfits look good together.
It takes about 2 weeks for me to process and color correct all your pictures. As soon as I am done I will upload them to a gallery for you to view all the pictures and share them with your friends and family.
